What a Busy Week!

We started off last week with a new trick - Alison can sit up on her own!

After church, last Sunday, we all changed into our PJ's and had a relaxing afternoon. Then, we got to see Matt for two more days because Monday was a holiday for Martin Luther King, Jr., and Tuesday was a bad-weather school holiday (freezing rain and ice on the roads). It was a fun 4-day weekend!

One week shy of her 6-month birthday, we started Alison on rice cereal...

...and she loves it! She is also good at wiping her mouth - such a little lady!

Alison's friend Caitlyn Jones came over on Friday for a play date. Alison decided to show her all the ins and outs of playing and speaking nonsense.

On Saturday, we headed to Duncanville to see Matt's college trombone professor, Don Lucas, give a recital and Masterclass.

Most of the day, Alison just played in the recital hall. However, she was a very good audience member and never cried!

This is perhaps the funniest picture we have ever taken of Alison. She is trying to fit the strap to her diaper bag in her mouth!

Awesome! Thanks for the updates. I am glad that you and Bethany get to hangout and have play dates. I wish I were up in Dallas to Eli could play with the girls.
