Time FLIES

Wow! I cannot believe it has almost been a month since my last post. Time is really flying by - our days are extremely busy and Matt's are even busier! School starts on Monday, but not for me! I have decided to stay home with both of my kids, and I could not be happier. I am having the time of my life, and even though some days are trying, it is such a joy to get to play with and love on your kids all day long.

I especially LOVE watching Alison's developing personality! She cracks me up!! She has a very good sense of humor, and she laughs at me whenever I do ridiculous things (which is a daily happening). She also likes to tell jokes, or her version of jokes - and then crack up laughing. She is such an easygoing kid and really loves her new little brother. If he cries, she tries to tell me how to make him better. "Change his diaper", "He's hungry" or my favorite "He's just fussing." She also repeats everything she hears, so I was amused whenever Jacob got the hiccups yesterday and she said in her best imitation of my voice, "Those DARN hiccups!"

Jacob is doing great. Almost 7 weeks old and already smiling! Nothing is better than looking down into his eyes and him looking back up at you with a big smile on his face! I just melt! He is almost 12 pounds - I cannot believe how much he is changing.
