Almost Spring

We're so excited that Spring is almost here.  The snow was fun, but we are ready to play outside again.  On Tuesdays, Rylan comes over to play with Ali and Jacob.  He is a sweet 2-yr-old boy who loves to have fun.

Time is just flying by, once again.  You blink, and Jacob grows a new tooth.  He currently has his two bottom teeth and is working on his third.  He is such an active little guy.  Even with the seat belt fastened tightly around his waist on the changing table, he is still trying to wiggle his way out of his diaper changes.  He turned 8 months old on March 6th.  He has been pulling up to standing since 7 months, but his new trick is cruising around the furniture.  He is on his way to walking (Lord, help us).

With Spring around the corner, we made a new addition to our family.  No, Natalie is not pregnant again.  It's a bike trailer for the kids.  Alison and Jacob ride, side-by-side, behind their Daddy's bike.  It is so great and they just love it.  Alison sings the whole way and Jacob chews on his seat belt straps.

Alison has made the leap and is reading on her own.  For Christmas, Matt and I gave her a devotional book, and she is reading her own bible stories.  I love that she recognizes the words Jesus and friends.  She is a truly happy little girl, who adores her stuffed animals and her "Bible study."
