Well, for those of you who didn't know...
...this was how we spent our first day of Spring!
Yes, more snow! Matt was excited because he was in San Antonio during the first snow days, so he enjoyed playing in the snow with Alison.
During Spring Break, we were down in Katy and we also got a chance to visit with Opa and Uncle Steven. Jacob got the opportunity to see the many faces of Uncle Steven.
Jacob seems amused! While we were there, Matt pulled out his violin and showed Alison a few things. It was fun to watch her try.
I think her posture is pretty good for a beginner.
I just love this picture of the Boening men - three generations:
We have one happy little guy! I heard my mother or somebody say, "Give kids lots of toys, and they still prefer to play with pots and pans." Here's the proof:
Easter was a fun celebration this year. Each holiday gets more fun, as Alison gets older. I think Matt and I enjoy it more than she does. This year, we dyed Easter eggs for the first time and had a visit from the Easter Bunny. Alison had so much fun, she asked the next Sunday if the Easter Bunny was going to hide more eggs outside. We had to explain that he only comes once a year.
