Once again, we enjoyed snow in Allen this winter. Well, I say "we" but Jacob took a nosedive his first time running out into the snow, and decided that snow was not for him. Maybe next year.
Matt and Alison had fun making a snowman, and Alison continued to eat her weight in snow.
Jacob LOVES to dress up. He goes into Alison's closet and ours and pulls out shoes to wear. Here he is sporting one of his many looks:
He continues to be ALL boy - which is both fascinating and scary at the same time. I am impressed with his fine motor abilities, but I have to watch him so carefully. He can turn any door knob, enjoys starting the dishwasher (which has resulted in running the dishwasher twice), likes to open our drawers and pull everything out, and can outsmart almost anything labeled "child-proof."
Alison has really thrived in Pre-school, at it has been fun to watch her interact with other kids her age. She continues to read anything we put in front of her and is one HAPPY little girl! One of her best memories this year, was a Birthday party where she got to have an up-do and dress up like a princess.
We have enjoyed many visits from grandparents/family and going camping over Spring Break with Uncle Steven.

Walkie-talkie fun with Uncle Steven
Alison had a friend in her Pre-school class who was diagnosed with leukemia in November. It has been such a "heavy" topic for a young child, and Alison has been very curious. After we talked about what leukemia was and how it might affect Kylie and her hair, Alison decided to cut her long hair and donate it.
Easter is always a fun time of year and Alison has enjoyed learning the TRUE meaning of Easter. She already tells me that she is a Christian and has asked Jesus in her heart. It makes this Momma VERY proud!

Last weekend, we drove to Lubbock to watch Uncle Steven graduate from Texas Tech Law School. Yippee - way to go Steven! We are so proud of him.
We are looking forward to Summer and having Matt home every day. Hopefully, I will have more time to update the blog... yeah, right! :)

That's VERY awesome that she cut her hair to donate. So inspiring at such a young age!
