If there was a way for me to make time stand still, I would! Emily is growing and changing so quickly. I forgot how fast babies move from one stage to the next. One minute they are eating every two hours, the next minute they are taking three hour naps! One minute they discover their little fingers, the next minute they are grabbing onto everything in sight (and shoving things into their curious little mouths).
Emily turned four months old on June 10th. Four months! Four. Stinkin'. Months. Here are her four month stats from her doctor's appointment:
- Weight: 13 lbs, 2.5 oz (40th%)
- Height: 24 & 7/8 inches (70th%)
- Head circumference: 15 & 7/8 inches (35th%)
In regards to "Baby Milestones" Emily is doing great! She smiles, laughs out loud (especially at her big brother), raises her head and chest while having her tummy time, grabs hold of toys/objects, enjoys looking around at everybody and is rolling from back to tummy and tummy to back.
Before I blink she will be running around the back yard, trying to keep up with her older brother and sister. They certainly love her - we laugh that maybe they love her TOO MUCH! Matt and I have discussed the meaning of the word "smother" and have instituted a "kiss-and-release" policy. :)
