Inspired by the many bloggers out there, I have decided to start a blog for Baby Alison. I don't want this to be a very public blog, but one for family and friends to enjoy! I hope to post weekly, so that you can see Alison's progress and enjoy her new photos. I have 7 1/2 weeks to make up for not having this blog, so here goes...
Alison Marie Boening was born on July 27th at 9:45 PM in Plano, Texas. Weighing in at 8 lbs 8 oz and measuring 20 1/2 inches long, I knew my heartburn was not a figment of my imagination! She barely fit inside of me! Here are some pictures of Baby Alison right after she was born:

We felt so blessed to have our family come and visit us while we were in the hospital. Here is Alison with her Mimi and Pops:
That was the beginning...
Fast-forward 7 1/2 weeks and now Alison Marie is a completely different young lady. It is hard to believe that it has only been 7 1/2 weeks - it feels as though she has always been a part of our family. Matt and I enjoy every moment we spend with Alison and we feel truly blessed to have this gift from above.
