Feeling Better

Sorry, everyone, for not posting in over a week. Alison and I have BOTH been sick since last Thursday! I started having a sore throat last Thursday and just thought it was a little cold, but it turned into a bacterial infection. Thanks to my dear husband (who has been taking care of Ali, cooking, and just doing all that he can to make me feel better) I got a chance to go to the doctor and get the Z-Pak (aka. Zithromax). I LOVE the Z-Pak! Alison has been extremely congested and has a hard time breathing when she eats. Therefore, she has been a VERY fussy eater! I can't imagine what our neighbors think of us, because in order to clear up her congestion, we use saline drops and then the blue bulb to suck all of her drainage out of her nostrils. Naturally, this is an unpleasant process and Ali screams like I have never heard before. It sounds awful, but she is better 20 seconds after we finish and wants to rock and cuddle! Needless to say, I have no new pictures, because neither Alison nor I wanted to get our picture taken under these circumstances. Stay tuned for more pictures next week...
