7 Months Old

It is official, Alison is not a little baby anymore! She is 7 months old and continues to amaze her parents with all that she can do. We took her out to celebrate Matt's 28th Birthday on March 4. Here she is in her special "going out" dress (courtesy of her Great-Aunt Lisa... Osh Kosh, naturally!)


Alison can now drink from a "sippy" cup. We give her water to drink after feeding her solids, twice a day. She took to it with ease. Here she is showing off her new skills...

We also introduced Alison to finger foods, since she always wants to grab onto whatever Matt and I are eating or holding. Here she is enjoying her Gerber Wagon Wheels...

This week is Spring Break for Allen ISD, so we have been enjoying both the warm weather and Matt's constant company. Alison is all ready to go for a stroll...

What a cutie! 7 months have flown by SO FAST! Before we know it, she will be walking, tying up the phone line, and dating (Matt says she has to be 25 for this last one). We feel truly blessed by our daughter, and I am sorry this is such a sappy post. *tear* :) Stay tuned for pictures from the visit from her Grandparents.
