What We Have Been Up To...

So, I got online today and I realized that I haven't updated the blog in a LONG time! Sorry about that. We have been extremely busy this summer, going out of town almost every single weekend. I will try to update you on all that Baby Alison has been doing...

Alison enjoyed spending some time with Mimi and Pops (Natalie's parents) while Mom and Dad got their first solo vacation as parents. While Mom and Dad were lounging on the Galveston beach and checking out the Railroad Museum, Alison was meeting Pops' co-workers, playing with Mimi, and jammin' on the piano with Uncle Noel. We missed her for the two nights we were away, but it was nice to sleep in! We met up with Alison, Mimi and Pops at the Kemah Boardwalk, where we got to eat at the Aquarium Restaurant.

Alison LOVED looking at the sting rays, sharks, and colorful fish. We all enjoyed our delicious and artistic desserts!

After lunch, we headed to the Boardwalk to ride the Carousel, the Ferris Wheel, and the Kemah Express. Alison seemed happy to see us (not that she even realized we had been gone) and it was a GREAT day!

On our way home, we made a stop in Bryan to see Alison's other grandparents. We had such a good time we decided to spend the night!
Alison enjoyed smiling at her Opa...

...and playing games with her Gran!
The next weekend, we headed to Lubbock for the Richburg Family Reunion (Natalie's Papa Bryant's Family). After a stop in Big Spring, we met up with Mimi and Pops. Alison was such a great traveler! 5 hours in the car to Big Spring, 1 and 1/2 hours to Lubbock, and 5 and 1/2 hours back home to Allen.
Mimi won Alison a nursery rhyme book in the auction.

Hanging out with Mommy after lunch.
