Jacob will start SPP in January when he is 18 months old. For now, he is enjoying his Tuesday-Thursday at Jami Landers' house. She is a wonderful, godly woman who kept Alison when she was 12 mo-2 yrs. We feel so blessed to have her in our lives!
He transitioned quickly to a new place and new friends. He loves people and is STILL the happiest kid on the block. Everywhere we go, people stop to tell us how cute and happy he is. It is such a blessing, because it is hard to be in a bad mood when Jacob is around. His walking has turned into sprinting.... literally, he runs wherever he goes. Usually, in a hurry to get into more trouble. Yes, he is still "all boy" and into everything. If you want to baby-proof your house, just invite Jacob over. It is fun to hear his "words." He says "wa wa" for his water cup, "mo mo" for more, "Daddy", "Mama", "Go go go" when he is off and running, and he also loves animal sounds - "nay nay," "moo," "baa baa."
Matt started back to work at the end of July, beginning his 7th year as a band director in Allen. It's hard to believe that we have been in Allen for 7 years. Our lives have changed so much from that first year. We moved from London, England, and were thrilled to have a decent-sized apartment and a car. Add another car, a mortgage, a wonderful church family, fantastic friends, a few different jobs for me, and the biggest blessings of all - our two kids. God is so good.
Here are the munchkins, enjoying some cooler weather and supporting their favorite university.
