Wreck 'em Tech!

The title of this post might seem funny to those of you who know nothing about Texas Universities... "Wreck 'em Tech" is just a little saying in support of the University where Alison's parents met: Texas Tech University.

This past Saturday, Alison watched Texas Tech beat the Texas A & M Aggies in College Football. She supported her new favorite football team by wearing her Texas Tech onesie and matching bow, purchased by her Mimi and Pops. She was a little concerned when the Aggies went ahead by 3 points with a little over two minutes left in the game, but she celebrated with her Mimi and her parents when Tech scored their final touchdown!

It was a fun day and part of a great weekend with her Mimi. The next day, we all went to church and then to lunch at the Olive Garden. It was sad saying goodbye to Mimi, but we will see her again, soon.

This week is Fall Break for Allen ISD. We are planning lots of fun time with Daddy, since he has the whole week off from work. One of Alison's favorite things to do right now is let us sing and act out the song "Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes." This is a surefire way to get her smiling and cooing. Another fun thing she likes to do is blow bubbles - and her spit ends up all over everything. Oh well... she looks cute! I will post more later this week with pictures from our Fall Break.
